Summary:

Looking for a senior level expert in the Metallization process. Ability to bring technical expertise and latest technology insight to the organization. Ability to investigate, develop and implement next generation technology and process. Develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost efficient manner. Investigates and resolves work-in-process problems. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters.

Description:

Monitors assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards. Responsible for all phases of assigned standard engineering projects, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. Implements process improvements to meet quality standards, performs
feasibility studies and solves problems.

* Support Operations in meeting production goals through the development of standard work * Partner with Operators to understand issues and solve operational concerns* Provide process support to assigned production area/troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with equipment or product performance* Provide machine expertise to operators to ensure process controls are meeting delivery and quality expectations* Revise/ write new Process related work instructions to establish stable processes.* Manage product line projects.* Create and maintain Visual management systems.* Establish baseline process state and prioritize improvement actions based on Detailed Process Maps.* Use problem solving methodologies* Act as a mentor/coach to production operators* Responsible for equipment modifications & procurements in assigned area* Support in completing Continuous Improvement/Lean action items.* Support & drive initiatives/projects * Drive lean methodologies & concepts to floor level.* Facilitate/Lead/Participate in Kaizen events.* Lead/facilitate/participate in 5S events.* Interact with customers to learn/understand product performance and apply learning to improvements.

Minimum Requirements : BS Engineering degree required, [Chemical Engineering preferred] Knowledge in color analysis & measurement systems is desired.* Operations leadership highly desired* Green belt or Black belt certification desired.* Excellent project/problem solving skills* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills-verbal and written* Project management experience required* Demonstrated implementation of lean culture* Proficient utilization of lean tools required* Computer proficiency expected
