Description:

Duties:

* Provides project management, managing project costs, project scheduling, and pertinent communication, for multiple complex and wide-ranging engineering projects that may vary in terms of scope and responsibilities.
* Determines customer's needs by identifying problems and safety concerns. Develop and evaluate solutions thereby defining project scope.
* Estimates cost necessary to accomplish scope with input from others, including monthly forecast project spending plan.
* Develops, prepares and/or assembles the engineering package/project documentation for each assigned project. This includes designs, calculations, layouts, schematics, manuals, bid specifications, etc.
* Provides purchasing services for project materials required. This includes reviewing potential vendors, contacts with vendors, coordinating with the Purchasing, issuing purchase orders, some price negotiation, and expediting delivery.
* Communicates all appropriate information in a timely manner and fashion to the necessary people within and outside the organization.
* Completes Project Closeout and Post Mortem analysis for appropriate projects.
* Coordinates or assists with installation, checkout, start-up and training as necessary. Facilitates effective handoff to respective plant equipment owners.
* Serve as a consultant to plant's technical managers in assessing and improving current processes, implementing and introducing new technologies, and providing recommendations for retrofits and new equipment.
* Assures projects are completed in accordance with company standards, regulatory agency codes and guidelines (cGMP/GMP).
* Participates in the generation of the annual capital plan and the development of 1-3 years plans for key plant assets.
